The hardwork of the cast and crew of Dirilis Ertugrul can be clearly seen on the screen. Engin Altan Duzyatan aka Ertugrul had to go for months of training for those sword fights that we see on screen.
In this post, I'll be telling you guys five interesting facts about Dirilis Ertugrul.

1. Sources ;
The sources related to the era of Ertugrul Gazi were only 7 pages. Yes! Only seven pages, the producers and writers had to do a lot of research for the series to be stretched for 5 seasons.
2. The Training
Engin Altan Duzyatan took almost 3 months of horse riding training. Shooting those arrows while riding was a tough job for him to learn but he did an awesome job on screen.
3. Character Study
In an interview Engin Altan Duzyatan said that he not only had to prepare physically for the role of Ertugrul Gazi but also mentally and emotionally. He had to study the character of Ertugrul Gazi for those excellent expressions to come out naturally.
4. President's Visit
The Turkish president Erdogan visited the set of Dirilis Ertugrul with his wife and inspected the set. He also greeted all the actors personally.
5. Bamsi's Era
Well, in actual history, Bamsi didn't exist in the era of Ertugrul and the three blood brothers that we see on screen (Ertugrul, Turgut, Bamsi, Dogan too) actually didn't exist in the same era in real life.
